On June 2, 2021, TV channel 3sat broadcasted the report “Strong Women”. Business journalist Patrizia Laeri shows cases of sexism in the media and potrays women who have dared to fight back despite negative public perception and massive attacks on social media. Lawyer Rena Zulauf comments on the question of forced commercialization by the tabloid media and Jolanda Spiess-Hegglin’s legal battle over the distribution of profits to which she is entitled by law.

Rena Zulauf has taken a stand on the decision of the Cantonal Court of Zug in the Spiess-Hegglin case against Rinigier AG in Swiss TV “Medienclub” (May 14th, 2019). The topic of the panel discussion was: “Spiess-Hegglin ruling: media gag order or landmark case for personality rights? For Rena Zulauf, the court’s decision is not a judgement against the media, as she stated in the panel. She is convinced: “Quality journalism will profit from the learnings of this legal case”.
